Troop 125 stays pretty active thoughout the year, but without fund raisers it would be the Scouts responsibility to pay for each event.   Fund raisers are also the key ingrediant to our summer campouts.  Below you will see our current fund raisers and can even place an order if you'd like.

As most of you may already know, popcorn sales are one of the biggest fund raisers for most Scout Troops.   This year is no different.  Popcorn sales have started for this year and will be over before you know it so its time to see your local Boy or Cub Scout and talk to him about selling you some of the best popcorn around.  Remember, popcorn sales only come once a year so make sure you order enough to last you until next year.   All orders MUST be turned in by November 10, 2000 and orders will be delivered after November 28, 2000.

Turkey Time
Thanksgiving is nearing fast.  Plan ahead and order your turkey today.  That's right.  Troop 125 is having their yearly turkey fry or Thanksgiving.  We are deep frying 10-12lb (pre-cooked) turkeys injected with Cajun seasoning for $25.00.  Cooking will take place on Saturday and/or Sunday November 18th and 19th.  Turkeys will come with instructions for keeping until Thanksgiving Day.

Sights and Sounds
Each year Troop 125 hosts a food booth at the annual Sights and Sounds of Christmas in San Marcos, TX...and this year is no different.  We will be cooking Kabob-on-a-Bun starting Thursday night November 30, 2000 through Saturday night December 2, 2000.   The Sights and Sounds festival is FREE to anyone who wants to enjoy fun activities for the whole family. (Although the food booths aren't free, most of the activities are.)  Click on the link above to take a look at the times and days, as well as some of the activities that can be found on the grounds. Make sure to stop by and treat yourself to a Kabobo-on-a-Bun.  (Its good eats.)
